TRON! TRON! TRON!
It’s TRON! I loved TRON when I was a kid and I still do. Expecially the game, TRON 2.0.
In fact, I think I’ll dig that out and play it again.

Lupine what about a source port of Doom like Doomsday or other source port. I use Doomsday myself and I like it. http://www.doomsdayhq.com/ It also plays Heretic and Hexen.

You Xbox players may want to pick up a copy of this week’s OXM podcast. Episode 50 is an awards show that took quite some time to piece together.

Jeremy is a Podcast diety now. He produces PC Gamer, MaximumPC, AND NextGen Podcasts. Since he’s one of my favorite Podcast personalities, it’s basically a win for me. Yeah! Sweetness!
PS. Jeremy, email me sometime if you have a chance - I’d like to ask you a quick question.
My email should be attached to my profile, feel free to look it up! Thanks!
February 2nd, 2007 at 5:49 pm
Actually, the game was Crusader: No Remorse.
February 2nd, 2007 at 7:29 pm
“Since he’s one of my favorite Podcast personalities”… WTF? The dude never talks, he needs to talk more.
February 2nd, 2007 at 7:35 pm
To all those upset at the lack of a podcast, I’d suggest you ask for your money back.
February 2nd, 2007 at 8:05 pm

This is a perfect example of how dedicated the PC Gamer staff and Jeremy is to us the listeners that while they couldn’t give us a podcast this they are willing to give us two next week. Thanks guys can’t wait.
February 3rd, 2007 at 1:34 pm
Sounds like somebody has a man crush for Jeremy
February 3rd, 2007 at 6:42 pm
finally subscribed to this site, donno what took me so long
anyway i always wanted to thank you guys for giving me the interest in actually having a job in the industry, of course ive always played and liked computer games, but you guys gave me that interest in getting a gaming job (sounds like an oxymoron).
From the burned out city of Beirut Lebanon to the French-saturated Montreal Canada, ill always read your magazine and nothing else (in the field), and have been ever since the wing commander 3 cover issue. Right now, im almost in Ubisoft Montreal as a 3d modeler/concept artist, ive been through their newly created Ubisoft campus and almost done with that.
:)

“Actually, the game was Crusader: No Remorse.”
And when did that come out? Tron might have come first, fool!
And is that game any good? I just bought the full collection of “Space Quest” for like…15 dollars. It’s got Space Quest 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, and 6, all upgraded to run with Window’s XP, 2000nd and 98. And Space Quest is awesome. “As you lay in a pool of your own blood, your last thought is: ‘Why did I bother to get up this morning?’”
The only reason I survived this PCGless week is due to my World War Z audio book, read by a full cast including Mark Hamel (Luck Skywalker), Ada Adler (that girl from M.A.S.H) and a few other people who’s names escape me. WWZ is probably one of the best books ever and the Audio book is even better…though I accidentally bought the ABRIDGED version. ARGH! But it was still 6 hours of zombie crunching goodness. Max Brook’s is a genius and if you haven’t read his books about zombies (the Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z) then you need too. Even if you don’t like zombies!
This is not viral advertisement’s. I have not been payed by either A) The Estate of Max Brooks ™ nor B) Random House Audio(TM) or C) Sierra Games software company.. The above endorsement is completely non-fraudulent.

Hey, just read a Digg post regarding Jack Thompson facing disciplinary action. Looks like his own profession has had enough of him. If this is true… I’d say it deserves a special comment from Dan Miller. For some reason, I view the two as arch enemies and he should chime in.
February 4th, 2007 at 9:58 pm
Yea I wonder what Jack would do if he lost his law license. I think he would have a harder time getting on TV and in public to spout his nonsense with out the, “I’m a lawyer and you should listen to me.” going for him.
February 5th, 2007 at 1:40 pm
Kobolds.
February 5th, 2007 at 5:18 pm
It’s next week! Gimmie!
February 5th, 2007 at 10:13 pm
Will one be posted on tues or weds or two on fri?
February 5th, 2007 at 10:47 pm
I would like to point out that it is also “next week” tomorrow through Friday. Don’t worry, PC gaming junkies, you’ll get your double-fix.
February 5th, 2007 at 10:54 pm
week is technically a period of seven days, so it hasn’t been a week yet (since the podcast is every Thursday).
February 6th, 2007 at 12:16 am
GAH! The goggles, they do nothing!
February 6th, 2007 at 5:56 am
“GAH! The goggles, they do nothing!” is dat mcbaine from simpsons?
February 6th, 2007 at 12:46 pm
Meh…
February 6th, 2007 at 2:41 pm
It’s actually Renier Wolfcastle, the actor who plays McBain. And the often-misquoted line is actually “My eyes! The goggles do nothing!” No “they.” I just won an argument with Greg about that very line.
February 6th, 2007 at 3:05 pm
FOR THE HORDE!
Dan, I would go an vouch for a Hunter. They are great soloing and the down time is rather low… that is if you know what you can handel. I can take 2-3 guys down easily, and there are great skills for soloing. Go hunter…
I would say a Horde hunter since Horde is cooler but if you want to be the pathetic Alliance, be my guest…
February 6th, 2007 at 6:46 pm
Rogues rule, perma stun FTW. They’re so easy to solo because of their incredible DPS and sap. It’s fun sneaking around and smacking mobs and players in the back too
February 6th, 2007 at 8:11 pm
If Dan S logs back on or is still logged on how are you doing in Oblivion?
February 6th, 2007 at 8:17 pm
And on the commentary of that Simpsons Episode of Fall Out Boy and the line discused above Dan S you are wrong. Matt Groening states that the line indead does have a “they”
as does the show runner and the writer so there I stated something no one should know so much about. Engage. PS Legacy Rocks, not the story mode but Skirmish is awesome!
February 6th, 2007 at 9:25 pm
Rouge, Hunter, Warlock, pick one of those 3 to solo.
February 6th, 2007 at 9:47 pm
ITS ROGUE, NOT RED
