At PC Gamer’s recent Showdown LAN, The Turtle Rock Studios/Valve crew were on hand to demo this amazing survival-horror-multiplayer-intensely-co-op masterpiece. LOL! Great video!! I love the use of LCD monitors. There’s no flicker like with CRT displays when on camera. Well done!!

Chuck: “For me it’s all about personal glory.”
Greg: “Only one of us can get outta here alive, and it ain’t gonna be me.”
Norm: “So, Chuck is the little girl…”
Greg: “Oh, Jesus… Oh-haha-HO $hit…”
Unknown (from background): “I have a feeling these guys don’t like each other.”
Greg: “My team left me behind… I was really doing good… I think they were jealous… I think they were jealous of my performance *bleep*”
Chulk: “(C)hulk angry!!! Grrrr!!!”
Unknown (from background): “The carnage is great!”
Unknown (from background): “Holy crap!”
Greg: “Ho ho ho ho… whooaa whoa whoa whoa”
Unknown (from background): “Dude… ohmygod, that’s {muffled}”
Unknown (from background): “Oh, you’re screwed!”
Greg: “Oh noooooo…”
Unknown (from background): “Can’t really call ‘em survivors when they’re dead.”
Unknown (on camera): “Play this everyday for years and you still only make it about a quarter of the time.”
Unknown (on camera): “It’s survival horror, right? You can’t always win!”
Norm: “It looks like DJ killed me…”
DJ: “Oh, yeah, my fault.”
Norm: “And then Chuck let DJ die, Chuck got Greg back up, and then Chuck died, and then Greg died. Greg was hung and he was, ah, vomited on. Survivors did not survive.”
Kristen: “Again, just like a regular activity at PCGamer.”
Greg: “I was doin’ awesome, and then all my teammates left me and then suddenly I was dead and no one revived me. But, in the end, Chuck finally did - thank you Chuck - uhm, but just like Norm said, he got… he got surrounded, he died, I killed a bunch of zombies, then I died, it was all over but it was glorious. It was terrific. Good fun.”

That was pretty good, I liked the geek house better though, one day if I win the lottery (I’ll never win the lottery, but you gotta play to win) I will build a house similiar to that, more cool stuff though.

Well, I suppose for PCG Editors it’s a pretty high chance.

Left for dead is such a fun game. I love zombie games. My gamer buddy told me about it and now I’m hooked!

L4D is a good game, it reminds me of arcade games for the quick and intense gameplay. It’s a great game for friends.. good video btw! It’s nice food for though to wonder if there will ever be slow zombie games (or movies) again, reminds me of the old days with resident evil 1-2-3.. that was a blast too!
